As a class we discussed what the purpose of a Music Video was, here are some of the points we came up with;
- They bring out a new dimension to a song
- Allows the artist to shape their image
- 'a picture makes for a thousand words'
- Another way to maximise the artist' awareness and reach the audience/people
- marketing/promotional device
