I have put together some album covers that I feel also links to ChennyB's album, R&B and Pop. I've chosen a range of both western and south-eastern artists. All of the covers above are really simple, that is also what I am aiming for.

Here is a screenshot from my iPad of some of the Albums I have. Most of the Albums I buy from iTunes, as you call tell they all have an album cover except for the one on the left.. I think having an Album cover is a lot more practical as it allows you to identify
