Editing: Day 8
I've started to add in cut away shots today along with transitions, and I've also changed the transparency on some of the clips for a better effect.

Editing: Day 7
I came in early today to import the new footage from last night. After lining up the footage to the track and making sure it is all in synch I've decided to change the structure again and use all the new footage for the verses instead of my old footage, as I felt they were too static. I also filmed some cut away shots which I'm not sure where to insert yet, as I feel there is too much performance and I should cut away at some point so the audience don't get tired of seeing Chenny all the time!

Skills Development
Thinking back to last year, when we were producing our own horror film openings, I definitely feel my filming and editing skills have improved a lot as well as my organisational skills. Working on my own has also taught me the importance of working efficiently and meeting deadlines on time, as I have no one to rely on but myself.
Editing for a Music Video for me, is very different to when editing a Film Opening, as they follow a different structure and we are editing for another purpose. For both projects, precision is key, as in a film opening you use match cuts, and they too have to be edited carefully to make sure it matches, and in a music video you must edit to the beat and make sure everything is in synch.

Filming: Day 5
Yes I know, why am I still filming when the deadline is in a few days? But after watching my progress so far, I'm still not satisfied with some of the shots! So me and Chenny popped out quickly to re-shoot the scenes for the bridge section. We also got some extra cutaway shots and some moving shots of Chenny singing while we were at it!

Editing: Day 6
In today's editing session, I changed around the structure of my Music Video, as in the rough cut there wasn't a structure at all. Although I am planning to re-shoot some of it as some of the shots are too dark. Since I have quite a variety of base tracks, I have enough to create a proper structure. What I mean by this is that; in the first verse Chenny bay be wearing a specific outfit, then in the second verse there will be a change of locations and possibly outfits too, the choruses will be the same(ish) and the bridge will also differ.
